Multiple Signatures - Adobe Acrobat Eleven

This article will become over how to place multiple signatures on a PDF document. In gild to place multiple signatures on a PDF, each signature field must be pre-placed before any signing takes place. While the signatures themselves can be placed with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, only the Standard & Professional version of Adobe Acrobat can pre-place these signature fields. The screenshots in this article are taken from Adobe Acrobat Standard 11.

A workflow involving multiple signatures volition use both theCertify (Visible)option and theSign With Certificate option available in Adobe Reader & Adobe Acrobat. The initial signatures will all use the certify pick, as this option allows boosted signatures to exist placed subsequently signing. Signature Field Instructions

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat

  7. If your PDF has multiple pages and the next signature is on a unlike folio, click the corresponding page under theFields department to motion to that page.

  8. Again nether theTasks department, clickAdd New Field >Digital Signature.

  9. Drag some other rectangle to place the next signature field and optionally label it for the suggested signer.

  10. Echo this process until all needed signature fields are in place.
  11. When finished, clickClose Form Editing to exit the form editor.

  12. Save your PDF; the document is now fix for signing.

Placing Multiple Signatures

  1. Open a PDF that contains multiple signature fields.
  2. Right click the start signature field to exist signed and choose theCertify with Visible Signature option.

  3. TheCertify Document window volition appear.
    • If you have multiple certificates, cull your signing certificate from the

    • Customize the signature advent to your liking.
    • Check the box toLock Document After Signing

  3. Save the PDF & enter the password for your Certificate/USB token.

The document at present has its final signature in place. All certifications and signatures should exist valid and can exist individually verified through the signature panel.
